Spring is in the Air – Time for Renewal, Fresh Starts & Beautiful Scents

This always makes me think of the origins of the word perfume. Did you know it comes from the Latin phrase “per fumus” – meaning “through smoke”? Long ago, people would burn fragrant offerings to the gods, hoping to be blessed with good harvests, favorable weather, fertility, and abundance. These rituals often took place at the end of winter, marking spring as a season of renewal, gratitude, and new hopes.

And isn’t that still what fragrance does for us today? A beautiful scent has the power to shift our mood, give us confidence, and make every day feel like a fresh beginning.

Inside our business we are starting to get ready for the spring and Christmas markets (wow, can you believe we are already talking about Christmas ). Stands have to be cleaned and repainted, banners dusted off and everything made shipshape. There’s an energy of preparation and excitement – and we’d love for you to share in it too.
