Why a Perfume Lecturer in France Said: “Magnifique!”

This last week I heard such a nice story from a customer, I thought I would share it with you.

We’ll call her Mary (not her real name obviously). Mary is a perfume fanatic so much so that she has been taking courses at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France, with the hope of being accepted into their degree course.

Her last course was level 1 in creations, now, during class they are not allowed to wear any perfume or scent as it can throw off your nose (and for those around you). After class and a long day of standing on her feet, she put on perfume as a pick me up, before starting the walk to the apartment where she was staying.

She spritzed on her scent and then packed up her bags to head out. The lecturer was standing nearby, she looked up and smiled at him. He gave her a quizzical look “What is that magnifique scent you are wearing?” he asked. Not sure if he was talking to her, Mary looked around before realising it was indeed her he was talking to. She took out her perfume and it was 7026 Tom Ford Fuck!ng Fabulous by The Perfumery!

She told me her lecturer was blown away. He absolutely loved it, and begged her to leave the bottle with him which she did before heading back to South Africa.

So there you have it, our fragrances have the seal of approval from one of the lecturers at The Grass Institute of Perfumery. We take great care in producing our perfumes so this obviously makes us pretty satisfied to get the news.
